For this piece my goal was to explore a darker mood while still pushing concept, shape and composition. I took inspiration from both the modern adaptation of the film by Robert Eggers and posters from the early 20th century by prominent graphic artists of the time. For the lettering, I had DIY metal and punk show flyers in mind, which fit the sinister and angular style I envisioned.
