For one of the final projects completed during my BFA in Illustration at Savannah College of Art and Design, I chose to create a book cover for Brave New World, Aldous Huxley’s masterpiece, which is approaching it’s 100th year as one of the most enduring and prescient works of science fiction. My goal for this project was to convey the dark, pleasure-filled future of conformity and control that permeates the world of the novel, balanced with the wit and satire Huxley’s prose.
